BELATED POST! Brady’s Cut of Calica’s “Don’t” Now Available On His Portfolio

I participated in FilmSupply's 2021 Edit Fest, for which I edited Calica's music video "Don't," which also features Daniel Loumpouridis. Reesa Myers, the owner of Spotlite Media, introduced me to this competition this September.

I edited this video with Adobe Premiere Pro in September and October 2021.  FilmSupply provided the footage to choose from and the song itself.  I assembled a combination of shots of Calica herself performing the song and shots for two storylines that each address a young couple making love, and color-corrected the footage to help it look cinematic and emotional in accordance with the story.

Now, this was NOT the cut that FilmSupply selected for the official music video.  For one thing, it wasn't even among the 25 finalists in the competition.  FilmSupply only permitted those participants who received the award for Best Color, Best VFX, People's Choice, and Best Edit to upload their cuts of this video to their YouTube channels.  For this reason, the privacy setting for this video is Unlisted, which means it is only possible to access this video with access to the link.  I also posted it on YouTube on Wednesday, October 20, which is what makes this a belated announcement.
