Another Golden Afternoon with Haley Kilburn

This Monday was another golden afternoon with Haley Kilburn in the Southside of Springfield. We bowled at Andy B's for two hours. We had a wonderful time bowling. Sure, I made multiple gutters, only a few spares, and only one strike. But at least we "Gamed On" nevertheless.

We even enjoyed two wonderful snacks: House Potato Chips and Chicken Bacon Ranch Fries. Both were delicious contemporary pub grub for a bowling alley/bar/restaurant fusion.

After several fun bowling games, we strolled to dinner at Sakura, one of my family's favorite restaurants in town when I was growing up. We enjoyed four sushi rolls: the Sam's roll, the Sakura roll, the Hawaii roll, and the Hurricane roll. We really liked them all.

We finished our get-together with a pretty twilight in the city on the way home. We had another wonderful get-together.

One last thing. Memories of evening outings in town is another major variable that inspired me to transition from first shift to second shift. My family dinner for my 18th birthday at Sakura is one fine example.
