New Friend on Carl the Collector
Today's rerun of "A New Friend / Lotta the Copycat". Carl meets Paolo, the panda, also autistic. The tablet that Paolo uses helps him speak (he is nonspeaking). That's characteristic of some people on the ASD.
Here's a fun fact: Odin Frost, the voice actor who plays Paolo, is also on the autism spectrum, and even nonspeaking himself. Kai Barham, the voice actor of Carl, is also on the autism spectrum.
Carl The Collector Show is undoubtedly one of the best current cartoons on PBS Kids, as they represent disabilities, including autism.
