Coming Soon: Videos of Brady Brewing Coffee at The Hive
Coming soon to YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram! A few videos of me brewing coffee at The Hive of the Ozarks. These are a few behind-the-scenes screenshots of my progress so far. These videos were all recorded this March, and certain content within these videos is now outdated. But I have been editing them over the past week anyway to demonstrate that serving drinks, including coffee, is one of the main things I did at The Hive, alongside doing dishes, and serving and busing tables.
Paulina Mondragon recorded two videos: "Brady Prepares an Iced White Chocolate Latte" and "Brady Brews a Vanilla Macchiato". In these two videos, she trained me a little on how to make those respective drinks. Paulina was my job coach via MERS/Goodwill, with whom I had a job placement program last fall, and she joined me as an assistant at The Hive this spring, from one of our Soft Openings to the end of our fifth regular week in business.
Then, on March 31, Cim Holker, my employment specialist via MERS/Goodwill, came to The Hive to visit me while I was at work. She filmed me brewing her a White Chocolate Mocha, a drink I really liked.
An important reminder, certain content within these videos are outdated, for The Hive has changed in several ways throughout the year. The "Gourmet Coffee" button, one of the buttons on the espresso machine, is one great example of this. These videos show that at the time of filming, that button was for steamed milk. But ever since Braydn Daniel of Rice Equipment Service stopped by early this May and repaired our espresso machine for some trouble we had with it, that button has been for Americano.

Former freelance voice talent and video editor on the autism spectrum, from the Ozarks region of Missouri, born and raised. I completed an Associate of Arts with Honors from Ozarks Technical Community College in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Digital Film & Television from Missouri State University in 2020. In college, I was a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks, and received the 2018 Outstanding Young Volunteer Award. I completed a paid internship at The Hive of the Ozarks in the spring and summer of 2022. The Hive is a café in Willard, Missouri, devoted to providing work experience and work skills to persons with disabilities.
