Now on YouTube: Brady’s Social Media Marketing Videos for The Hive of the Ozarks
Surely you've heard the news by now: last month, I started my job at The Hive of the Ozarks! (I understood at first that this was in fact a job, but for right now, it's actually a paid internship of 500 hours, after which I have considered continuing to work there.) The Hive is a café/coffee shop in Willard, Missouri, who aimed to hire persons with disabilities.
Part of my job is to take part in our social media marketing. So over the past month, I have been filmed promoting various items on our menu, and posted videos of my promotions on Instagram and Facebook. And by special arrangement with Melissa Skaggs, the President of The Hive, last week, I finally began to also modify certain of my videos on Adobe Premiere Pro. (At first, I only modified my promotional videos on my phone, not my laptop, by color-correcting them and/or cropping them for Instagram.) On Adobe Premiere Pro, I color-correct the footage to help it appear more saturated and brighter, enhance the audio to try to lower the background noise and focus on the spoken word, and type subtitles to accommodate deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers. Both the videos I have edited on Premiere Pro and my other marketing videos so far are all finally available to view on YouTube. (These are each in their respective reverse chronological order.)

My Other Marketing Videos for Social Media
Keep in mind, though, surely I will continue to make marketing videos after these as behind-the-scenes circumstances catch my eye.
In addition to engaging in the social media marketing for The Hive, I also performed the voicemail message for our telephone system, as this behind-the-scenes video demonstrates. The reason why Miss Skaggs invited me to record it is because, as you may have heard, I had thought about working as a voice talent, as well as a video editor. My interest in doing so derived from my participation in Deepgram's project “Sentence Reading for Deep-learning Speech Recognition Model,” my official debut paid project via Upwork, in July-October 2020. Deepgram is a speech recognition company who expressed their goal to develop a new generation of AI speech recognition technologies when they published “Sentence Reading for Deep-learning Speech Recognition Model," which is how that job really captured my interest during my search on Upwork. After all, as a man in my 20s, I had found my own voice to stand out for not only sounding noticeably deep, but also unique in contrast to other men in my generation. (Yes, "generation" is the keyword.) That was only the first of various temporary and one-time paid projects as a voice talent, posted via Upwork, that I completed as an Upwork freelancer.
