Now on YouTube: Tour of The Hive with Missouri State University’s Occupational Therapy

New from The Hive: a tour of the workplace for future employees--especially people with disabilities--featuring Julianna Elizabeth Vogt of Missouri State University's Occupational Therapy program.  The Hive is a disability-friendly café/coffee shop with a mission to provide work experience and job skills to persons with disabilities.  "Different Abilities, Same Opportunities".

A group of ladies from Occupational Therapy stopped by The Hive and filmed a tour around the entire facility that I hosted on July 6, 2022.  Then they filmed a follow-up quick tour a week later, on July 13.  These three videos are each part of their follow-up tour.  I edited them on Adobe Premiere Pro in late August 2022.  They are now available to watch on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

This is a general quick tour of The Hive.  In this video, Julianna simply walks you around for your reference should you choose to work there.

In this video, Miss Bev Lance demonstrates how to clock in and out of work.  This video is especially useful because it is important to clock in and out at work generally.  Accuracy in clocking in and out is really important because, after all, employees are paid for their time clocked in to work.

In this video, Jacob demonstrates how to make a soda.  The Hive proudly serves soft drinks, just like a typical café or restaurant, and not to mention, specialty Mixed Sodas.
Jacob is the son of Melissa Skaggs, the President and owner of The Hive.
