Three News Reports. Two Happy, One Sad.

Both related to Old Video Quality Enhancements. But how about I start off with the sad news, so that this message can end happy, not sad.

My sad news to you is that the original version of the opening to the Sesame Street VHS Elmocize, uploaded by TheVideoLover2, has just been deleted from YouTube. So you will not be able to compare the original and enhanced-quality versions, you will only be able to see the enhanced-quality.

Now, my happy news is that I just uploaded another old TV commercial of which I enhanced the visual and audio quality, one for 7up that aired in the mid-1970s here in America, from YouTube channel ADLORD. My modified version of this commercial is now available to view on YouTube and the list of old videos of which I have enhanced the quality here on my website.

Enhanced-quality version. I color-corrected and modestly sharpened the footage on Premiere Pro, and took out the background hiss, particularly that heard in the beginning, on Audition. In fact, in this version the background, apart from the stars all over, is literally pitch black, compared to the original version, in which the background is mostly black with some gray noise.

My additional happy news is that not too long ago, I got myself an account for Upwork, a platform where freelancers can get hired online. And all the projects here on my website can all be found on my portfolio on my Upwork profile as well. But I have applied for three different positions as a video editor on Upwork, and never heard back from the clients who posted them.
