Brady Marshall’s Projects Now Available to the Public on YouTube!
Big news! At last I recently made a vast majority of my video projects accessible by the general public on YouTube. I started doing so over the past week by changing the privacy setting from Unlisted to Public, so that those of you who have visited my website before, and watched my video projects there, can now finally find them on YouTube as well. The “dates posted” on each of these videos are relatively recent, but they are when the videos became publicly accessible on YouTube, not when I first posted them on YouTube.
Until then, I had left the privacy setting for all of my videos as Unlisted, simply to avoid the possible consequences of making public a published video with copyrighted content, such as a copyright claim. That happened to me the first time I published a video on YouTube, for a homework project. That video contained some copyrighted footage, and so YouTube blocked it from viewing in some countries. Unfortunately, I myself have long deleted that video anyway.
But yes, even now some of my projects do contain some copyrighted content, in the form of music. I have also knowingly left the privacy setting of one of my projects Unlisted: the opening to a copyrighted cassette. Yes, it does obviously contain some copyrighted footage, so I am afraid that if I make that video publicly accessible, then I may face a copyright strike, which can mean legal trouble, which is why I have not made it publicly accessible.
I have also changed the privacy setting of one of my projects to Private: a commercial that aired in Italy in the early 1990s. The brand being advertised is Lovable, for women’s bras. A few of the ladies in that video are literally “stripped down” to just bras and bikini bottoms. That is a sexual concept and therefore may not be suitable, which is why I haven’t made that video publicly accessible. It can also not be seen on the list of my old video quality enhancement projects on my website.
